Hello! My name is Rod Claflin and I am the host, author, and web master for the Date For Love website.

It is my pleasure to provide you with all of the dating advice and information from my past experiences along with tips that I have found along the way.

I hope that there is something on my website that you can take away in which will provide you a tool to use to help make your date a success! That is my goal.

Let me know if there is a topic you would like for me to discuss or if you want me to provide some resources and I will add these to the site. Please add me to your favorites when you get the opportunity and stop back later! : )

Why this site was created?

I created this website on May 2008 in order to help people out with dating and love since I think everyone deserves a companion.

Why you may ask? Well, back in my mid 20's I was single for awhile and became the ultimate bachelor. : )

I tried hard to work the dating scene and made many mistakes along the way in which I fell flat on my face many of times.

If I could have had someone there letting me know what things to do, try, and what to avoid, would have been priceless!

I went from dating friends, coworkers, blind dating, on-line dating, and nothing seemed to work for me for years. Yeah, I was a real winner! : ) Just kidding.

It can take time and I think there is a reason why we are single and why we are together with our soul mates.

Sometimes, it is just a matter of time and you have to keep plugging away until the door finally opens!

This is the reason why I decided to start a dating advice and information website to help people who seek advice.

My Promise:

The information on this site is based upon my own experiences with some information that I have found along the way to be beneficial.

I will from time to time recommend a product or service only if it is something that I have tried personally, or know something about that I believe in.

If you provide your email address for any news letters, give away, or contests, I promise to never give, or sell your email address to anyone.

I do understand the need for privacy and I am also a web surfer myself who cares about my personal information being placed in the wrong hands.

How this website was created:

I built this website by being a member of Site Build It. This is the company that provides you with all of the tools necessary to building a successful website.

Without Ken Evoy and the SBI system, I would still be sitting here trying to find ways to build a successful website!

Thanks to Ken and SBI, I am able to provide people with information and services that may help aid them on their dating journey. This I am grateful for!
