First Date

The time has come to have the first date with the person you are extremely excited about. There are so many thoughts running through your mind and you can’t stand still.

This could be the love of a lifetime so you will want to be prepared!

Your goal should be to make a good first impression since you may want to go on another date with this special someone.

Relax and be yourself since you want the person to know the real you and not the one who tried too hard to impress. That is never a good thing.

Here are some first dating tips I would like to share that I feel will start you off on the right foot:

• Show up with a clean vehicle

• Arrive on time

• Be polite and open the car door to let her in

• Be honest

• Ask questions about your date and don’t talk too much about yourself

• Don’t be talking on your cell phone and put on vibrate

• Drink in moderation or not at all

One of the main goals should be to get to know the person as much as you can to see if there are things that you have in common that you can build on.

Relationships are like being with your best friend so having something in common will go a long way.

On the first date, you want to remain positive about everything and do not start being negative about the world. This is a big turn off.

Try not to talk about every thing that you have accomplished since you were 5 since there will not be much to know going forward for your date. Keep it brief, short, and simple.

If you are a gentleman, you are the one who pays for the dinner and women please let the man pay! That is just the way it is supposed to be. Things can change down the road, but never on the first date.

When you end the evening there is nothing wrong with a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek if the night went well.
