Dancing for Love

Now that the world loves Dancing with the Stars, you may be thinking to give it a shot on your next date! This is only a good idea if you are the next Patrick Swayze.

On a serious note, this can be a lot of fun as long as you and your partner are comfortable doing the tango.

Having something fun in common like dancing can be fulfilling after going out for a bite to eat, but I would recommend doing this after you get to know each other from going on a few dates.

Can you imagine if you had a fear of dancing and your date called you stating she will pick you up by 9 to tango? Yikes!

What I am trying to get at here is that if you and your partner enjoy it, go do it as it will be a wonderful bonding experience.

The goal of dating is to find something in common to connect with and by finding that one thing can really be the difference maker.

This is just like hanging out with your friends. Don’t you tend to go out with the friends you have the most in common with? Bingo!

If you are not a big dancer like myself, but can hold your own, wait until you are extremely comfortable with each other.

This would be like at the next wedding you’re invited to or the big year end event party from work.

If the both of you do enjoy doing this, make sure to understand what style each other likes before committing to a certain dance club or event.

The last thing you want to happen is for her to think ball room while you want to go dirty!
